Plant opening in Singapore

The 9/10/2006 was a date worth celebrating for Friedrich Klumpp GmbH. The relocation into a new, spacious administration and production building was finally completed after weeks of intense planning and hard physical work.

Many local Klumpp suppliers and customers didn't want to miss out on this happy event. In front of the entrance strewn with bouquets of flowers, company head Dr. Klumpp gave a brief speech in which he sketched out the company’s positive development and solid growth. He thanked the employees for all the work they put in and the many friends of the company who had come by. Under continuous applause, Dr. Klumpp, his wife and son Stephan Klumpp and the Vice President of Klumpp Woodcoatings, Mr. Stranak, cut the golden ribbon in unison.

During the sparkling wine reception, the Swabian businessman lead a tour of the new premises and to enthusiastic onlookers, explained the product’s journey from raw material to end product ready for dispatch.  The buffet with typical local delicacies gave everyone the chance to get to know internal and external employees and the members of the Klumpp family who had flown in especially personally in a relaxed atmosphere.
