UV sealers

In the DPL process, UV sealers are divided into anti-abrasive UV sealers and UV sanding sealers.

Anti-abrasive UV sealers are usually rolled directly onto the printing inks and are used to provide the abrasive strength of the product. AC3 accreditation, according to the EN 13329 Norm for laminate floors, is important here. The anti-abrasive UV sealers manufactured by Klumpp Coatings easily satisfy this standard.

UV sanding sealers are used to coat the raw anti-abrasive sealers. The grindability of the material is of less importance here since the DPL production plants in actual use today can manage without lacquer sanding. The focus is more directed on achieving a decent flow, to achieve a perfect surface smoothness.
