Putties

UV putties are used to fill in holes in the cork substrate. Putty is an absolute must when wishing to represent close-pored surfaces. In particular this applies to cork with a high raw depth, porosity and other irregularities.

In general, one must distinguish between the following:

Light UV putties which can be fed in with commercial membrane pumps and can be applied in a cycle and 

Heavy UV putties which are usually applied with closed jaws, and are the best available in terms of filling capability.
